Almost everybody knows Supreme. Born in 1994, Supreme has gained much popularity in New York and the world and became widely known as one of the biggest name in skate culture and street wear scene. For over 17 years, Supreme has worked with the big names like Nike, Vans, Futura, Ari Marcopoulos, Timberland, The North Face, WTAPS, Neighborhood, A.P.C., Visvim, Clarks, Levi's, Adam Kimmel, and so much more.
This year, Supreme is doing something special by joining force with one of Rei Kawakubo's line, Comme des Garçons SHIRT, releasing the exclusive capsule collection to coincide with the opening of Dover Street Market Ginza this March. Recently, the collection preview has surfaced via Supreme's website & SENSE Magazine. The collection includes the beautiful polka dot T-shirts and Hoodies with Supreme's box logo being horizontally flipped. The menswear also ranging from Long sleeves Shirts, 5-Panel Caps, and also the limited editions Vans Era & Sk8 Hi, stamped with the Supreme x Comme des Garçons SHIRT logo inside.
The menswear collection will be available through the new Dover Street Market in Ginza, Japan, and Supreme shops in New York, Los Angeles, London, Japan and online starting March 16th 2012, while the Vans will be available around mid June 2012.
There are people saying that this collaborative capsule collection with Comme des Garçons SHIRT is some of the best from Supreme in the recent years, while on the other hand, some people think that this collaboration is a bit lazy.
