We would like to welcome y'all once again to one of our feature program, Product Focus. This time, let's take about Camo or Camouflage. Camouflage patterns on Fashion and Art is not something new. Camo patterns has been huge and having its ups and downs since the 60's, still crawling back and finally became huge again in around 2010 and it seems that it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
There are many brands that are quite fond to this pattern, from High Fashion, Street Labels, and Young Designers from small accessories, to tailored garments. To name a few, there are the likes of Nike, Porter, Mark McNairy, SOPHNET, Nanamica, Stussy, Supreme, Gitman Brothers Vintage, or even higher end labels like Louis Vuitton, Trussardi and Prada that use camouflage pattern on their items. Camouflage lately is quite close with one of the most trusted mens fashion tastemaker and icon, Nick Wooster. He has brought lots of camouflage with him, including on his work with PROJECT for PROJECT Wooster in 2011, which brings out camouflage items from Want Les Essentials de la Vie, Globetrotter, White Briefs, Hamilton 1883, Maharishi, and Leffot.
Camouflage is a good addition to you're other stuffs. We know that a simple oxford or a plain white tees are always good, but sometimes it is good to add some patterns or colors to your daily outfit. Combining items with camouflage can be a little tricky, but if you do it right, then it could be fresh and gives a more rugged look. Believe us, you don't want to look like a soldier, so don't you ever use too many Camouflage on yourself. If you want to go simple with camouflage, combine it with a simple White oxford, a Navy trouser with a Sand Suede shoes. You can also go bolder with a camo trouser, and combined it with a shirt and chore, denim, work or an easy jacket. These are just a few example of wearing camouflage.
