Jakarta-based brand, elhaus, has always got our attention since their first appearance in 2010. elhaus has evolved from a new born denim brand to a brand that offer quality menswear products that has something different than other local brand there is. They are always trying to find unique fabrics and materials to use. Recently, their Fall 2012 Collection entitled "Supplies for The Trotting Men" has came up. The lookbook consists beautiful imageries shot by Argi Tendo of Tendos.
We have got some items from this collection. Fall 12 Collection includes the beautiful Blue Ikat Ed Shirt, a simple and classic button down shirt with a club collar. The Ikat dyed fabric is put together using 100% cotton threads, and the pattern on this shirt has rounded edges that no machine can sew together, it requires an expert to do it freestyle as it is. The other items are the Repress Fatigue Pants, the new design that is a nice blend of clean cut trouser with utilitarian details. very nice. The pant features 4 patch pockets, side tabs on waist, and comes in a slim straight silhouette. We predict this will be a popular style and we are excited to think that this article will be made in iteration for next seasons.
They also bringing once again the Duck Forbear pants in Khaki Color, and Ed Slacks, another new one from elhaus. elhaus chinos often goes unheard of, but it's really some of the best we've seen. Named Ed Slacks in corresponding to the curved pattern similarly used on one of their shirt with the same name. Fit is slim though the leg and in the seat but not super slim. It is just Right. The pants features a buckle back and curved back pockets. This uses a selvedge material. Very cool.
